We had a really comfortable stay at this lovely family-run hotel. It was fairly clean. - Breakfast was nice. - the location was unbeatable and convenient, close to important monuments, the town center, and the old quarter of the lower town. - Near local cafes and restaurants. - Close to tourist attractions.

Para chegar à residencial é preciso subir 4 lanços de escada com as malas às costas. É inadmissivel que não tenham elevador.

The rooms were simple but very clean and the location was excellent. It was an easy walk to pretty much everything. The staff gave great advice on quality local restaurants and things to do. There was also a free carpark included which was safe and secure. Breakfast was also good ( fresh breads) especially considering the price charged. This is a budget hotel with no frills but with excellent service and helpful staff.

Simple, spacious, modern rooms, affordable, comfortable hotel. We have been travelling for a few years now, so believe us when we know a good one! It is very central, being a part of the original old town, there are traditional and new restaurants a one minute walk, the main train station is less than a minute walk away. The scenic river is a five minute walk. The Uni is close by to. The man and the lady there were extremely helpful, taking our laundry to get done, helping us take our baggage up and down the stairs, he even helped us walk it to the train station! The wifi connection is strong and consistent. The rooms get cleaned by a lovely lady each day, and the balcony is huge, overlooking a busy little street near one of the main squares. The settings in the rooms are modern, clean, simple. There is air- conditioning and constant hot water. Parking is off site, close and free. We stayed there a few nights and were really happy with it all. Definitely good value to money!
The breakfast is a simple, typically Portuguese one; Bread, jam, butter, ham, cheese, coffee, orange juice, from 7-10am. You have to hand over your key when you leave - but to their credit they are always there waiting to give it to you once you return. If you have a car, you have to park at the Loja, not at the hotel, the Loja is a two minute walk away, but again, to their credit, the very expensive parking (19euro a day) is paid for by the hotel. The rooms and breakfast area are modern, but the entrance is a little dated.

The hotel is a lovely family-run place in a pedestrian area of Coimbra. The unit on the lower floors is functional and newly decorated. The staff is excellent and incredibly nice. They serve a wonderful breakfast with juice and ham to start the day.

Very friendly and kind staff. Excellent location. Nice room with a balcony.
Disappointing, as well as very inconvenient, was that they did not accept VISA or any credit card as payment means, although Booked.net site says they do.

Very friendly staff who respects your wishes and privacy, while always there to meet your needs. Perfect treatment.
The occasional noises by weird people outside in the street at night, though I guess that would depend on the night and has obviously nothing to do with the hotel.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
